Done with peaks? let me take you to the waters of AJK.
How many times have you come across people telling you that Pakistan has natural beauty but the people over there are not protecting it or helping it to enhance it? So guys brace yourself because this next piece of beauty is not built naturally but by the people of AJK. Banjosa Lake is more than half a century old built by some Sudhan Brothers near Rawlakot city. However, this lake has all the modern taste and flavor in it and competes with every other lake around the globe. Beauty of this lake is the very reason that it has fan base from within and outside the country. This picnic spot is very easily accessable, it is on the Golden road 11 km away from the Rawlakot city. This place is cool in summers and cold in winters.
Rawlakot is considered as the fashioned city of AJK. This city is more advanced in it's infrastructure and literacy rate than anyone in AJK. Government has done a lot of work over there in building its beauty like rest houses and parks. This lake portrays a shadow of mountains surrounding it. Though it has a huge fan base and everyone has their own taste yet dusk and dawn are my favorite times to spend on this lake. As it gives you a shadow of sun coming up and down.
