The name depicts a beautiful appearance of blue coloured water of Neelum River. Water of this river comes from the mountains of Krishna Sr. This blue water river cross the valley from its center and became a very good sight for tourist.
Beauty of Neelum Valley is basically because of three main reasons one of it we discussed about blue river water and (2nd) The beautiful and mighty mountains of KEL and ARANGKEL that surround the valley from every end. and (3rd) is the fact that this area is way far from the urban culture and they have a much lesser inflow of tourist then other part of Kashmir which makes this area pure and untouched. The only road that connect this heavenly place from around the world is the one that comes from Muzaffarabad. And this road is actually not an easy task for urban driver and a Sedan car and only jeep or a 4x4 truck can travel in this area.
The very reason that attract me are the houses made of wood which you can witness in the picture. these houses show the culture and living standards of these people are doddering and old. This area is also cold like rest of the areas of Kashmir and upon my visit to this area i witness these people only live 6 months a year because rest of the 6 months their whole valley get covered in snow and they can't come out in it. this place is very beautiful and people are very hospitable they welcome every tourist with open hands, they let the tourist stay in their houses as they think the only way they can interact with the world are the tourist coming to their places. This is also a must go place for every adventure loving person. Ending here with a hope that you and i get time to visit this eye catching site one more time.
