The name of Bolan pass is attributed to the name of Prominent personality of Kurd tribe “Bolan”.
Camel, roads and railway track make this scene very interesting. This pass route was one of the most important route of subcontinent. For centuries, Bolan Pass has been the passing route of Caravan to travel from Iran and Kandhar to India. The British constructed a railway line in view of the importance of this pass route which was completed in July 1886. In the pass you will see nomadic travelling with their herds from cold areas to hot areas. Covering 65 kms on Quetta-Jacobabad highway. The sign of Pir Ghaib appears on your right side. Travelling more than 10 kms from here you can reach the beautiful area of Pir Ghaib. Reaching peer Ghaib, there you will see waterfall. There are some attractions in Pakistan that cannot match any tourist attraction of the world. One of these areas is lush green and heart-fierce area of Pir Ghaib which is located in Bolan district of Balochistan. When we reach this area It appears that you have come to heaven. Anywhere, you look, your eyes remain stuck in that place. The area was named on reference of a saint(elder).

According to the tradition, he came with his sister Bibi Nanni for preaching islam to the local people. The people of this area worship idles. Local people became their enemies to both to them and Pir Sahib hid among the rocks to avoid the attackers. Few days laters, pir ghaib disappeared and no one knew where they go.
Most people come this place for picnic. They made it a picnic point. There is an arrangement of food, tea, bed and everything for people who come to this place. In waterfall, the depth of water is not much high. If you want to take bath you can take. There is a small tuckship from where you can purchase your necessities. You can purchase fries, colddrinks and many enjoyable items. There you can also purchase drinking water and all basic items from the tuckshop. There is no restaurant here, due to which tourists face many difficulties. People bring food with them. We also decided to make our meal. Here is tandoor from where you can buy hot bread. Around the pool, the palm trees swing with power of wind. Just saying welcome to you. It was a great experience visiting and enjoying this beautiful place.
