Pir Chinasi - Heaven in Kashmir

Pir Chinasi is named after a famous Holy Shrine Pir Shah Hussain Bukhari.

From this given picture you can witness the height of this mountain is comparatively higher than the any other around it. This place is actually the peak and the coldest point of the capital city of Muzaffarabad with the height of 9550ft. above the sea level.

If you want to go in clouds then this is a must go place for you.  Roads are really good yet they have hairpin turns so you better be careful. From Muzaffarabad it takes one and a half hour drive to reach at the Pir Chinasi base point, rest is  hike so the healthier you are the higher you go. One very important thing about this place is if you are planning to stay there then rest houses will be a hard to get option for you because they are very few and are booked all the time so in this case camping at the top is going to be fun.

Pir Chinasi can be a beloved option for trekkers and those tourist which possess a daring bent of mind. And if you have some trekking knowledge then it will add some special taste in your entire hike. Locals of this area are arranging a "snow crossing jeep rally" event every year which attracts tourist and stunt enthusiast from across the country.
