Ganga Peak is the tallest peak of AJK with the height of approximately 13000 ft. above the sea level. And i feel honoured to say this place is my hometown. This name "Ganga Choti" has many reasons yet one of them is the water that goes to the Indian side make it to the Ganga river. And honestly if bring binocular with you to the hilltop, you can witness Ganga river and many Indian people bathing in it. They considered it their holy ritual that they can clean their sins by bathing in it. Alright so about Ganga peak, this place is usually covered with snow 7 months a year, from October to April. while living in my hometown in summer vacations in July I was having quilt at night. So if you are planning to give this place a visit pack your bags but most importantly have your bomber jackets and take ice sticks and wear long boots. This place won't disappoint you.
The last ruler of AJK before seperation MAHARAJA HARI SINGH prefer to live in this area and his remain are still their under the control of AJK government. They have converted his palace into a Meseum.
Ganga comes in Bagh AJK, and this city is full of historical places. Quoteing ALBERT EINSTEIN "We still do not know one thousand of one percent of nature has reveal to us"
This place is not known by many of People but just consider my request and give it a try and be my guest YAAR!
