Ganga Peak is the tallest peak of AJK with the height of approximately 13000 ft. above the sea level. And i feel honoured to say this place is my hometown. The city is situated in the surrounding of the plam trees and on the banks of Rashkan River is one of the oldest places of Makhran. Very long ago it was known as a great commercial city. Even today, this city is also important in this regard that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is also passing through this city. Pangjur is located about 555 kms in the southwest of Quetta and takes about 8 hours to reach from Quetta. However, due to lack of attention, these historical places of this city are becoming extinct. We also visit Shrine of Shaho Qalandar. The grave is about 20 minutes drive from city. After Shaho Qalandar, we also visit another tomb which is located at 20 minutes drive from Shaho Qalandar shrine. Nobody knows the history of Shrine

We also visit gardens of Palm Trees. Due to which panjgur is famous. The palm trees drying here due to non availability of water and less rainfall. There are different types of Palms. The highest quality of these palm is Mozati. Other palms are Sabzo, Soor, Rabi, Dandari, and Kaloj. Mozati is most expensive all kinds of palms. The prize of Mozati Palm is from 120 rupees to 160 rupees per kg. The cheapest of all palms is Soore. The price of Soore is 60 rupees per kg. These palms are exported to Karachi and China. The problem that farmers mostly face is nonavailability of water. There is no irrigation system.Everyone should visit these beautiful and historical places
This is me Hassan. I hope you will visit these places and enjoy.
Thank you!

Toli Peer - A Memorable Hike

Toli-Peer is a hilltop situated at an altitude of 8800 ft. above sea level. Toli-Peer surrounds 3 mountain ranges (a) KKH (b) Hindu-Kash (c) Himalayas. It is one of the most visited places of AJK because of the easy access of travel. Roads to this spot are really good and it can be your every weekend hangout. This hilltop gives you a wider view to watch Rawlakot and Bagh(cities of AJK). This is a very good spot for skiing after Malam Jabba in winters.

This region has a great Spiritual significance to people who believe in shrines, as it has a shrine on the hilltop and number of visitors come visit it everyday. lush green meadows & mountain surrounding it gives a pleasant view to the eye.

This place has a great amount of knowledge to reveal which by living in the monotonous and busy life of city goes unnoticed. So if you want to relax & think calmly about an unpleasant situation of your life you can take a trip to Toli-Peer.  HALLELUJAH

Banjosa Lake - Man Made Beauty

Done with peaks? let me take you to the waters of AJK.

How many times have you come across people telling you that Pakistan has natural beauty but the people over there are not protecting it or helping it to enhance it? So guys brace yourself because this next piece of beauty is not built naturally but by the people of AJK. Banjosa Lake is more than half a century old built by some Sudhan Brothers near Rawlakot city. However, this lake has all the modern taste and flavor in it and competes with every other lake around the globe. Beauty of this lake is the very reason that it has fan base from within and outside the country. This picnic spot is very easily accessable, it is on the Golden road 11 km away from the Rawlakot city. This place is cool in summers and cold in winters.

Rawlakot is considered as the fashioned city of AJK. This city is more advanced in it's infrastructure and literacy rate than anyone in AJK. Government has done a lot of work over there in building its beauty like rest houses and parks. This lake portrays a shadow of mountains surrounding it. Though it has a huge fan base and everyone has their own taste yet dusk and dawn are my favorite times to spend on this lake. As it gives you a shadow of sun coming up and down.

Bolan - The City of Love

This travel blog is about another beautiful place of Balochistan. This place is known as Peer Ghaib. In this blog, you will known how you can reach this place, its distance from Quetta. What is the history of Peer Ghaib. What facilities are available for tourists. What activities you can perform here. Peer Ghaib is situated at a distance of 75 kms from Quetta. Where you can reach in two to three hours. At the distance of 40 kms from southeast of Quetta. You enter the Bolan Pass through the route of Kolpour. As soon as you enter the Bolan Paas. The natural beauty this area bond you in such a way that your temporary worries vanish in a moment. And you forget everything.

The name of Bolan pass is attributed to the name of Prominent personality of Kurd tribe “Bolan”.
Camel, roads and railway track make this scene very interesting. This pass route was one of the most important route of subcontinent. For centuries, Bolan Pass has been the passing route of Caravan to travel from Iran and Kandhar to India. The British constructed a railway line in view of the importance of this pass route which was completed in July 1886. In the pass you will see nomadic travelling with their herds from cold areas to hot areas. Covering 65 kms on Quetta-Jacobabad highway. The sign of Pir Ghaib appears on your right side. Travelling more than 10 kms from here you can reach the beautiful area of Pir Ghaib. Reaching peer Ghaib, there you will see waterfall. There are some attractions in Pakistan that cannot match any tourist attraction of the world. One of these areas is lush green and heart-fierce area of Pir Ghaib which is located in Bolan district of Balochistan. When we reach this area It appears that you have come to heaven. Anywhere, you look, your eyes remain stuck in that place. The area was named on reference of a saint(elder).

According to the tradition, he came with his sister Bibi Nanni for preaching islam to the local people. The people of this area worship idles. Local people became their enemies to both to them and Pir Sahib hid among the rocks to avoid the attackers. Few days laters, pir ghaib disappeared and no one knew where they go.
Most people come this place for picnic. They made it a picnic point. There is an arrangement of food, tea, bed and everything for people who come to this place. In waterfall, the depth of water is not much high. If you want to take bath you can take. There is a small tuckship from where you can purchase your necessities. You can purchase fries, colddrinks and many enjoyable items. There you can also purchase drinking water and all basic items from the tuckshop. There is no restaurant here, due to which tourists face many difficulties. People bring food with them. We also decided to make our meal. Here is tandoor from where you can buy hot bread. Around the pool, the palm trees swing with power of wind. Just saying welcome to you. It was a great experience visiting and enjoying this beautiful place.
I hope you will soon visit these beautiful place and enjoy the nature's beauty.
Thankyou!
Hassan Iqbal

Murree - The Queen of Mountains

Murree’s colonial charm is still seen in the woods!

It is not only a hill station but a tourist paradise where you can close your eyes and picture yourself, listening to the morning bird, feeling the cool and crisp pine breeze and soaking the gentle sunshine. The beautiful place of Murree aka Malika e kohsaar has Patriata chair lift which runs over many eye catching areas for about 7 kilometres and provide riders with a bird’s view of the green hills. In lower topa, there is Sozo adventure park for people of all ages, with unlimited number of rides upon paying once, and the best part of this park is that it is having Pakistan’s first ever and largest water slide. For shopping and eating, Mall road is the place to go, crowded at all times with trippers. Amongst the famous galis you will pass through Jhika gali, Ghora gali, Changla gali, and finally up north on your way to Ayubia, Nathia gali, each with its own landscape having a different vibe in its own serene way. Your mind and soul refreshes when you see the green beauty with clouds all over you.

It is captivating, it is colourful, it is ecstatic, it is one which will make you feel in seventh heaven.

Neelum Valley - Scenic Blend of the Blues

I am sure you are enjoying the blogs, I am also very happy writing about these places. Our next stop is the most beautiful and famous Neelum Valley.

The name depicts a beautiful appearance of blue coloured water of Neelum River. Water of this river comes from the mountains of Krishna Sr. This blue water river cross the valley from its center and became a very good sight for tourist.

Beauty of Neelum Valley is basically because of three main reasons one of it we discussed about blue river water and (2nd) The beautiful and mighty mountains of KEL and ARANGKEL that surround the valley from every end. and (3rd) is the fact that this area is way far from the urban culture and they have a much lesser inflow of tourist then other part of Kashmir which makes this area pure and untouched. The only road that connect this heavenly place from around the world is the one that comes from Muzaffarabad. And this road is actually not an easy task for urban driver and a Sedan car and only jeep or a 4x4 truck can travel in this area.
The very reason that attract me are the houses made of wood which you can witness in the picture. these houses show the culture and living standards of these people are doddering and old. This area is also cold like rest of the areas of Kashmir and upon my visit to this area i witness these people only live 6 months a year because rest of the 6 months their whole valley get covered in snow and they can't come out in it. this place is very beautiful and people are very hospitable they welcome every tourist with open hands, they let the tourist stay in their houses as they think the only way they can interact with the world are the tourist coming to their places. This is also a must go place for every adventure loving person. Ending here with a hope that you and i get time to visit this eye catching site one more time.

Naran - Glaciers, Lakes and Greenery

Pakistan has some amazing natural beauty and Naran valley is one such gem. Holding the magnificent landscapes each part of the valley presents a different look for the other, perfect for nature lover and honeymoon couples who are starting their lives with pleasant memories.

Almost 160 kilometres long Naran valley lies alongside a river named Kunhar, where you would certainly enjoy fishing and if lucky could also catch a trout in your fishing hook. Amongst the numerous places to visit, the top on your list would surely be lake Saif ul Mulook which can only be accessed through a jeep ride. The lake is surrounded by gigantic mountains which tourist usually prefer for hiking, its beauty is enhanced even more in winters with unforgettable views of glaciers. Siri paye is another tourist spot, known for its lush green meadows where visitors love to do camping and horse riding. Babusar top is also a destination for travellers 70 kilometres from Naran only by jeep, but a place worthy of visiting.

No wonder you will be tempted to give up everything and build a cottage here if it weren’t for the pressing jobs that you have to do back in your cities.

Pir Chinasi - Heaven in Kashmir

Pir Chinasi is named after a famous Holy Shrine Pir Shah Hussain Bukhari.

From this given picture you can witness the height of this mountain is comparatively higher than the any other around it. This place is actually the peak and the coldest point of the capital city of Muzaffarabad with the height of 9550ft. above the sea level.

If you want to go in clouds then this is a must go place for you.  Roads are really good yet they have hairpin turns so you better be careful. From Muzaffarabad it takes one and a half hour drive to reach at the Pir Chinasi base point, rest is  hike so the healthier you are the higher you go. One very important thing about this place is if you are planning to stay there then rest houses will be a hard to get option for you because they are very few and are booked all the time so in this case camping at the top is going to be fun.

Pir Chinasi can be a beloved option for trekkers and those tourist which possess a daring bent of mind. And if you have some trekking knowledge then it will add some special taste in your entire hike. Locals of this area are arranging a "snow crossing jeep rally" event every year which attracts tourist and stunt enthusiast from across the country. So if you have a fare factor in you then you must give it a try.

This is me Tayyab Sheikh signing off from Pir Chinasi with a hope that you are visiting it very soon.

Kashmir - Jannat Nazeer

''Jannat Nazeer'' means any place that looks like heaven. This word Kashmir came from Sanskrit which mean desiccated land. Geographically it is situated between Pakistan & India surrounded by serene Himalayas and Pir Punjal range making it one of the few coldest regions of Pakistan and India.

Because of the geographical interest it is ruled by many dynasties i.e. Afghan Durrani, Mughal Empires, Dogar Maharaja and most recently it is divided and a major conflict of interest between Pakistan and India.

This hard and cold environment of Kashmir compliments the strength and bravery of Kahmiris.

The land of Kashmir is pure, untouched and away from the effects of industrialization which reflects the simplicity of Kashmiris. Kashmir has uncountable tourist attractions that's why it is known as "Heaven on Earth''  and this scenic beauty attracts tourist from around the world. major cities of Kashmir are Muzaffarabad (Capital), Bagh, Rawlakot, Palandari, Mirpur and Bhimber.

PEACE

Karachi - The City of Lights, The City of Sights

For our last blog of our Sindhi adventure, we move to the hub and heart of it all, Karachi. Before sunrise, we hurry to the beach and admire the encapsulating beauty of dawn. A quick jog and jam session later, we build up an appetite and move on to Boat Baisin where the traditional breakfast of Halwa Poori awaits us. As daybreak ensues, we move to Beachview Park and enjoy the gentle sea breeze, till the malls open up. Ocean Mall, The Forum, Park Tower, a plethora of options for shopaholics and watch time tick down beyond measure.
We make our way to Gulf, where you are welcomed by vendors selling heavily embroidered traditional saaris, in all sizes, shapes and colours. Amongst clothes, you’ll find traditional handicrafts that can be used as souvenirs to give to your friends and families. After our consistently long shopping ventures, we move on to a place of architectural majesty, Frere Hall. A landmark of religious and cultural significance, it has become a hotspot for bridal shoots as well as, sigh, TikTok videos. After that, we must visit
Burns Road for its famed street food. Naan Nihari, Student Biryani, BBQ, Kheer followed by paan. Tantalizing, mouthwatering, delightful. A sugarcane juice vendor shall always be within eyeshot and it is what we would need to tackle Karachi’s climate.

Empress Market is one of the biggest animal market in South Asia, a barbaric norm of caging animals who are destined to roam freely in the wild, it is possible to visit the market in hope of purchasing one and letting them free. Another market in our midst is Gul Plaza, where you can find centerpieces and art pieces that have been smuggled off the border. As we near tea time, Café Piyala is the ideal destination to have karrak chai and biskut. As dusk approaches, we make our way to Capri Cinema and watch box office hits in just 200 rupees on the big screen. After that, it’s time for dinner and for that, no better place than AL-Habib Restaurant on Super Highway. Their fish, sesame chicken and pulao are to die for.

Karachi, the city of sights, the city of lights.

Sassi Punnu Shrine - Royal History

Sassi was the daughter of king of Sindh. When she was born astrologers told the king that this girl will be a bad sign for Royal Family. King put the girl into the wooden box and poured it in the Sindh River. The box was found by childless launderer at Bhamboore. He considered the girl as a gift of God and brought her up as her own child.

Khewra - The City Of Salt.

Amidst of Punjab, lies another city with the name of Khewra. Khewra is perhaps famed due to the quality of salt it produces, which is around 96% pure, and The Khewra Salt Mine is the second largest salt mine in the world while being Pakistan's largest. Lets get ourselves into more details about the Salt Mine. The Khewra Salt Mine was discovered  in the second half of the 1800's, although it dates back to the Mughal era and since the past few decades has been converted into a Tourism spot. Tourists usually visit the mine during the  winters, since in the summers, it becomes quite humid. Khewra Salt mine has the old mining machinery for display, which helps you get a grasp of how mining was executed in the former times. Inside the Khewra Salt Mine, you could get sight of a small masjid which is entirely built on glowing multicolored salt bricks and it includes replica's of Minar e Pakistan, The Great Wall Of China and a statue of famous poet, Allama Iqbal which are all made from crystals and salt bricks. Chitral - Pakistan’s Pearl of the North

From icy mountain peaks to rivers to forests, the historical city of Chitral is one of Pakistan’s most beautiful places to visit.

The valley is famous for hiking, trekking, mountaineering, fishing along with a number of tourist spots. The best time of the year to enjoy your trip here is in summers from July to September. It is not only the natural beauty that differentiates Chitral from other places in the northern areas but also the traditions and culture one witnesses here. Local residents need no reason to celebrate which is reflected by the different colorful festivals they have in their unique and simple way of life. After a long winters, the arrival of spring is celebrated on 21st of march. In mid may, people enjoy a four day joshi festival and the most unique part of this is the announcing of your chosen life partner. Jashn e qaqlasht is celebrated in April every year with an aim to promote Chitral’s cultural heritage. In addition to these, shandur polo festival, one of the most famous events is held in July at the highest polo ground of the world.

Hyderabad - The Food Tour

Hyderabad is renowned for being the city only true food lovers can understand. A place with great history, architecture and industry, Hyderabad has developed a street food culture that very few cities in Pakistan can match. Let’s plan your day food-wise!

Breakfast would be the famous Dulhan Paratha, from Café Afzal. A paratha small in size but very filling; garnished with shredded cheese, chicken, cashews, raisins, egg and chickpeas, the Dulhan Paratha got its name from when people used to come to the café and
order a breakfast for newlyweds, the owner decided to create this scrumptious new item on its menu and hasn’t looked back since.

You can spend time till lunch by visiting the famous Pakka Qila, albeit a bit broken now, the grandeur and beauty still remains. For lunch, it is imperative that you try the spiciest biryani you’ll ever eat from Al-Shareef Biryani. The double masala biryani is a treat for spice lovers and leaves you tantalizing with a craving for more.

With your taste buds on fire, you need something to calm your senses. We move on to the oldest and most renowned Rabri center in Sindh, Haji Rabri. A perfect balance of sweetness provides a sense of ease. With the place in the hub of Hyderabad, it won’t be tough finding your way there.

For tea, we make our way to Bombay Bakery and stand in line of people who are mad for their cakes. Their chocolate cake as well as coffee cake quite literally sells like hot cakes. Sit and devour each bite while you sip on richly scented coffee.

For dinner, you must try Breeze Restaurant’s fried fish. By far, the best fish in Pakistan. A fillet, so you don’t have to deal with those pesky bones, and fried too perfection. Not too well done, not overcooked, just perfect. The chutney they serve is nothing short of a delicacy, dip your fish in it and enjoy every bite.

Faisalabad - The Manchester of Pakistan.

The world has a Manchester in England but we also have one in Pakistan with the name of Faisalabad, which was once also known as Lyallpur. Faisalabad is perhaps famous for its exports of agriculture, textiles, furniture and has become a huge industrial center. This city has produced many politicians, sportsmen, singers etc. aswell as the globally acclaimed qawalli singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.  An old monument which always pops up in everyone's mind is the famous Faisalabad Clock Tower, which was built around 1905 by the Britishers. Due to it being very historic and also the oldest part of the city, it serves as a tourist spot. The Clock Tower also serves as a connecting point between the eight bazaars which has different markets to sell certain goods. With places like huge Textile companies, such as Shahzad Textile industry you could know how much and by what quantity and quality the material gets produced and why it stands out compared to the rest of the world. Lyallpur Museum could help you get a sight of all the 10 galleries which show the ancient history and culture of Lyallpur with historic pictures of the previous rulers. The oldest park in this city is Jinnah Garden, which is also the city's central park and holds the monument of a famous British administrator, James Broadwood Lyall. Whilst Cricket being a sport which runs in the veins of this country, this city holds many cricket stadiums and has previously held international tournaments on this turf. From Masjids inspired by the Mughals to Sikh Gurduwara constructed in the British era, this city offers religious diversity.  So if you have a great deal of interest into former times and a place with historical significance, Faisalabad awaits you!

Churna Island - A Slice of Heaven

On a 2-hour drive from Karachi, lies a slice of heaven amongst men. Churna Island holds a body of water as clear as crystal and wind as calm as ember with peace and calmness surrounding the lucky visitors. You can walk on the coast, or you can take part in the countless activities the vendors have ready for you.

Scuba diving is one of the favorites of most of the youngsters that end up visiting the shore, however, most people prefer to dive off cliffs, speedboat and, my personal favourite, paragliding. Churna Island provides a little something for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re
an adventure seeker or just someone that wants to clear his mind, you’ll find everything there in a clean and non-toxic environment with new people to meet, new stories to learn and new memories to make. So, take that vacation you’ve been delaying for so long and come on down to Churna Island!

The sight at the Rakaposhi view point, amidst the loud yet appeasing sound of water falling directly from the melted glaciers of the Rakaposhi mountain is a scenic beauty that will greet you throughout your trip. After dwelling in the magnificence of the Attabad lake, you will be headed towards Hunza valley through a well-constructed Karakoram highway, with every sight more captivating and eye opening than the previous one. Gwadar - The Gate of Wind.

If you ever plan for your honeymoon, Gwadar is the right place for it. Located in Balochistan, Gwadar is derived from Balochi words, Guad meaning Wind and Dar meaning gateway which leads to ''The Gate Of Wind''. Known for its beaches which touches the Arabian Peninsula, Gwadar offers a unique scenery which is soothing to the eyes. Mountains, waves, wind and a smooth flow of sea's water makes it amongst the most exotic destinations in Pakistan, even despite the fact that Gwadar has a hot desert climate. Some notable destinations are Koh-e-Mehdi known for its high peak and dictinct background and Zalzala Jazeera which is a small Island also called Earthquake Island.  Due to its history and unique blend of cultures, and its lineage to the Omani culture; who once ruled here and still have their old buildings intact in Gwadar, it offers tourists a life time experience. Gwadar also possess the well known Gwadar Port, which is often dubbed as the fourth Hub for Sea Logistics. Its stragetic position and location has helped Pakistan import and export goods easily. Mohatta Palace - Royal Summer Home or Haunted Villa?

Mohatta Palace is renowned in Karachi for its stupendous architecture, huge doors and ceilings as well as exquisite flooring. It was built as a royal summer home, turned into the residence of Fatima Jinnah after partition. After the death of the younger sister of our founder, the palace had been shut down for 30 years till 1995, when the Ministry of Foreign Affairs purchased it and began its operations from there. Once they relocated, it converted into a museum which has been preserved by the antiquities department of Sindh. The museum hosts exhibitions every now and then, with the rich history of Sindh on one side and modern art on the other. It truly is a sight to behold.

However, the night guards frequently leave their positions and have to be paid a substantial amount of money to make them stay at the helm. Why?

Many guards have complained in the past of hearing parties go on in the vacant blocks and once they would go in to investigate, they would be greeted with floating wine glasses and completely rearranged exhibitions. Do you believe this is true? Only one way to find out..

Skardu - A Nature's Perfection

In the extreme north of Pakistan, there lies a central valley of Gilgit Baltistan known as Skardu, which is a manifest of beauty, charm and wilderness.

After Jaglot on the Karakoram highway, a small narrow road leads towards Skardu on a seven hour drive during which, one is greeted with towering mountains, stunning streams and an amazing hospitality of locals. After crossing the wooden bridges over river Indus, one reaches to the breathtaking Shangrila resorts amidst surreal mountains. Higher up in the Kachhura village there is a wonderful Kachhura lake with crystal clear water surrounded by woodland. Moving ahead from Skardu bazaar, a road leads to Pakistan’s highest plains, Deosai, from where a staggering Sadpara lake can be seen, which on a full moon night is a picture perfect image. Sun sets earlier in mountains than plains and the interval between sunset and nightfall is a sight that cannot be described in words to someone who hasn’t been a witness to this.
